Em nosso laboratório, buscamos avaliar os efeitos da Hormese (dieta intermitente, curcumina), de hormônios (ouabaína) e proteínas (WNT, KLOTHO, α-SINUCLEÍNA, β-AMILÓIDE) no sistema nervoso central, com ênfase na sua interação com o sistema glutamatérgico e com mediadores da sinalização inflamatória visando a neuroproteção e novos alvos terapêuticos para as doenças neurodegenerativas.
